2026 Extension Master Gardener Training

Kris Jarvis from John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District talks about water quality and conservation. The class begins in minute 47. I forgot to turn the recording off when we went to Rady Park for the lab, so the presentation does not go on for three hours.  

After a few announcments, Tim Ohlwiler teaches about herbaceous plans and a little bit about landscape design after the break. The recording starts in minute 17.

In the first part of class several different program leaders share how to get involved and volunteer with the different programs. Then there are four poster presentations. After the break Tim Ohlwiler talks about plant propagation. Finally, towards the end of class, Jacqueline Phillips shares her experience with winter sowing.
